Ballroom Blitz was commissioned by and developed at Hull Truck and a version with the title Ballroom Glitz was presented as a rehearsed reading, directed by Andrew Pearson, at Hull Truck Studio launching the venue’s Play, a Pie and a Pint nights on January 19, 2011 with the following cast: Robert Aramayo, Jonny Collis, Laura Elsworthy, William Ilkley, Zach Lee, Sarah Naughton and Tilly Oakshott.
